You and your roommates will be responsible for keeping your apartment unit clean.
Though cleaning is a never-ending task, it is necessary to prevent pests, damage
from accumulated dirt and/or excessive cleaning prior to departure. The following
is a list of helpful hints to assist you with your endeavors.
- Develop a schedule. The responsibility for cleaning should be shared. When
one or two people are doing all of the work, resentment can build.
- Keep the cleaning supply cabinet stocked. Nothing is more frustrating than
when it is your turn to clean and the cupboard is bare.
- Try to spend some
time each day cleaning. Doing the whole apartment in one day can be frustrating
and exhausting.
- To avoid "pests", keep food in sealed containers and remove
trash to the appropriate exterior dumpster regularly.
